Step-by-Step Resume Building: Job-Winning ATS-Proof Resumes is a structured, step-by-step approach to resume building, designed for fresh graduates, career changers and experienced professionals. It focuses on understanding recruiter expectations, optimising formatting, and positioning achievements strategically using proven frameworks.

The course opens with what actually happens to a resume before a human reads it: the six-second scan and the applicant tracking system. From there you plan - skills, career goals, a personal SWOT analysis - and build a Master Resume that every later version comes from.

It is a beginner-level course with 33 short video lessons, 5 readings and 17 assignments, including practice assessments after each theme. Coursera's guidance is two weeks at ten hours a week, on a flexible schedule.
