Program 04 · BTech · The flagship

One campus went from 60 placements a year to 241.

Programming fundamentals, DSA depth, CS core and company-specific test preparation - 180 to 200 live hours plus a 150-hour self-paced library. Nothing a student meets on test day is first-seen, because we prepare against the actual pattern each recruiter uses.

01 Who this is for

The page a T&P officer forwards to their director.

Engineering placement is the most measurable service we run, and the one where the numbers moved fastest.

T&P Officer

A cohort you can schedule

Batches that fit the timetable, with RAG dashboards naming exactly who needs intervention.

Dean / Director

Board-grade accountability

One readiness number per cohort, refreshed weekly - not an invoice for sessions delivered.

Student

From panic to pattern

DSA sequenced properly, timed company mocks, and a coding library deep enough that the real test feels like practice.

03 Test intelligence

Every recruiter’s pattern, with the bar named.

This is the working reference our trainers prepare against - duration, format, and the score that actually converts. It is the single biggest reason company-specific prep beats generic aptitude coaching.

AssessmentDurationFormatThe bar that converts
TCS NQT165 minCognitive (aptitude, verbal, logical) + programming-logic MCQs + 2 coding questionsNinja: 60–70% overall or one fully correct code with high aptitude accuracy. Digital: two correct codes plus 70–80% in advanced sections. Prime: exceptional online performance plus advanced technical rounds.
Infosys HackWithInfy3 hours3–4 DSA problems (easy, medium, hard, complex)L1 (₹10 LPA): one hard plus one medium. L2 (₹16 LPA): one complex plus one medium. L3 (₹21 LPA): one complex, one hard, one easy or medium. Top 100 get a direct Specialist Programmer interview.
AMCAT Automata (SHL)60 min2 coding problems + 7 debugging problems, in C, C++, Java, Python or C#Bulk IT hiring: 35–45. Product companies hiring under 100 (Nokia, Amazon, Palo Alto, Deloitte, Shell): 45–55. ₹30 LPA+ roles: 60.
Wipro Turbo / Elite120–150 minAptitude + verbal + logical + essay + coding (2 questions)Turbo (₹6.5 LPA) and Elite (₹4.5 LPA): 70%+ with one fully correct code, or 60–65% with strong aptitude.
Capgemini150 minAptitude + game-based + technical + English communication + coding60–70% across all rounds, or at least one fully correct code with good English and strong game-based logic.
Accenture120–150 minAptitude + game-based + technical + communication + codingOne correct code, clear communication and demonstrable logical reasoning.
LTIMindtree90–120 minAptitude + 20–30 technical MCQs + 1–2 coding questionsBulk hiring: 35–45% overall. Technical-round shortlist: one fully working code plus 60–70% MCQ accuracy.

Grading across all of these weights the same four things: functional correctness, test-case coverage including edge cases, time and space complexity, and how few compilation attempts it took. That is what our practice is scored on.

04 The plan

Two tracks, because two kinds of recruiter.

Recommended minimum for final-year cohorts across one to two semesters. Two-year and three-year journeys are built on the same spine.

Daily rhythm: a minimum of three hours of coding and three hours of aptitude or soft skills. The product track assumes basics are in place and spends the extra time on recursion, trees, graphs and dynamic programming with multiple-approach problem solving; the service track includes a refresher and concentrates on concept clarity with selective practice.

06 The platform

What a student and a T&P officer actually see.

Three of the screens this program runs on - the same system your placement cell reports from.

Infy Assess score report for a Python Basics test - percentile, marks obtained, time used, proctoring violations, a skill-wise radar and a question-level breakdown
Infy Assess - a proctored score report with a skill-wise radar and question-level analysis
Infy Assess skill-growth radar comparing a student’s Java, Python and C++ scores between attempt one and attempt three
Skill growth - the same student across attempt one and attempt three - improvement made visible
Infy Assess attempt-wise progress analysis charting a cohort’s score improvement across three test attempts
Cohort progress - attempt-wise score movement, which is the number a dean asks about

07 Credit-integrated option

The eight-semester version.

Where an institution wants employability inside the degree rather than beside it, the same content maps to credits across all eight semesters.

Scale

64 credits - 56 course-theory plus 8 lab - across eight semesters. Roughly 880 theory hours plus 160 lab hours, with an additional 30 hours of aptitude and soft skills every semester (210–250 hours in total).

Sequence

Semester 1 programming in C and communication; 2 object-oriented programming and system concepts; 3 data structures, DBMS and front-end; 4 algorithms, back-end and data structures II; 5 advanced DSA and software engineering; 6 advanced DSA II with a data-science or cloud elective; 7 competitive programming and company-specific problem solving; 8 capstone and internship.

Practice

500+ hours of asynchronous foundation content, 6+ live projects and 500+ coding problems across the eight semesters, plus a hackathon and capstone each academic year.

Assessment integrity

Invigilated offline exams with staggered seating and randomised question banks, MOSS plagiarism checks on code, problem variants assigned by student ID, recorded mock interviews for cross-checking, milestone vivas on projects, and a signed honour code.

Internships

Two virtual internships plus one final internship, with an industry report and viva.

Delivery share

Board Infinity delivers roughly a third of the program - the core, applied and career modules - with your faculty owning the rest.

10 Endorsements

From the people who own the outcome.

The difference was specificity: company-wise test patterns, DSA depth, and weekly dashboards. Our placement numbers didn’t inch up - they tripled.

11 Questions deans ask

Straight answers.

Our recruiters are mostly service companies. Is the product-track content wasted?
No - you would run the service track as the volume engine and put your top cohort on the product track in parallel. That is exactly the two-tier model behind the 368% NCR result.
How quickly do results show?
Indore ran 60–80 placements a year before the partnership, 153 in phase one and 241 in phase two. NCR moved 368% in a single season. Both are documented phase by phase in the case studies above.
Can you handle a 2,000-student batch?
Yes. Tiered delivery - a base cohort plus alpha cohorts - with async load-balancing and dashboards is the model the program is built for.
Where does the company-specific test data come from?
From running these cohorts season after season: actual score-to-offer conversion at partner campuses, refreshed each cycle as recruiters change their patterns. It is a working document for our trainers, not a marketing claim.
Do you cover product-company system design?
Yes - 25 hours of low-level and high-level system design in the product track, plus design patterns, scalability, load balancing, caching, CDNs, REST API design and microservices, worked through social-network and e-commerce case studies.
