Program 03 · MBA · Year two

Placement season is a sprint. Arrive already warm.

Domain depth, recruiter-specific preparation and interview readiness, sequenced across year two - so a student sitting in front of a Deloitte panel or an HUL case has met that format before. Forty specific recruiters, grouped by how they actually hire.

01 Who this is for

Written for placement committees who present numbers to a board.

By year two the variable is no longer knowledge - it is whether a student can perform a specific recruiter’s format under time pressure.

Placement Chairperson

A season you can plan

A quarter-by-quarter plan mapped to your recruiter calendar, with readiness reported per student before the first drive.

Dean / Director

Board-grade accountability

One readiness number per cohort, refreshed weekly - not an invoice for sessions delivered.

Student

No format seen for the first time

Case interviews, guesstimates, assessment centres and HR rounds are all practised and scored before the panel that counts.

03 Recruiter clusters

Grouped by how they hire, not by logo.

Each cluster hires on a distinguishable format. Preparation is built per cluster rather than per company, which is why one track can cover four recruiters honestly.

04 The AI layer

Every mock interview comes back scored.

Infy Interview Coach roleplay session report scoring knowledge, confidence and communication, with written areas of improvement and what went well
Infy Interview Coach roleplay session report scoring knowledge, confidence and communication, with written areas of improvement and what went well

A mock interview with no written feedback is theatre. Infy Interview Coach returns a scored report on knowledge, confidence and structure - with the specific failure named, which is what lets a student fix it before the panel that counts.

  1. An overall performance verdict

Functional and non-functional scores, stated plainly rather than softened.

  2. What actually went wrong

Here: failing to engage the guesstimate prompt and not structuring the problem - coachable, specific.

  3. Success metrics, itemised

Knowledge and confidence scored separately, because they need different interventions.

08 Endorsements

From the people who own the outcome.

They work inside our academic calendar, not around it. Faculty see a partner, students see a coach, and the board sees a placement report we can stand behind.

09 Questions deans ask

Straight answers.

Our placement committee already runs preparation internally. Where do you fit?
Underneath it. Diagnostics, benchmarked practice, coaching capacity during peak weeks and the dashboards your committee uses to target intervention - you keep owning the recruiter relationships and the calendar.
How is “company-specific” different from generic interview prep?
The seven clusters above are prepared separately because they test different things. A guesstimate-heavy analytics consulting round and an FMCG assessment centre need different practice, and we run them as different tracks.
What happens to students in the bottom quartile?
Last-quartile hand-holding is a scoped track - five sessions of ninety minutes - because the batch average is not what a placement report is judged on.
Do you cover offer evaluation and negotiation?
Yes. Salary and offer evaluation sits in Placement Essentials, and offer evaluation, decision-making and negotiation are part of the last-mile program.
Which business schools do you already work with?
Twelve IIMs, plus XLRI, SPJIMR and forty institutions in the NIRF-100 - pre-placement readiness and career-services engagements. We can arrange a reference conversation with a comparable school.
