Program 01 · Years 1–2

The first two years decide the last two. Build the base early.

Aptitude, professional skills, Advanced Excel, Power BI & Tableau and Generative AI - 150 hours across semesters one and two, delivered on campus inside your timetable. By the time placement season arrives, your cohort is not learning percentages for the first time.

01 Who this is for

Bought by placement cells. Felt by first-year students.

Foundation training is the cheapest intervention on the entire journey - and the only one that still has two years to compound.

Dean / Director

Board-grade accountability

One readiness number per cohort, refreshed weekly - not an invoice for sessions delivered.

T&P Officer

A cohort you can schedule

Batches that fit the timetable, with RAG dashboards naming exactly who needs intervention.

Student

A head start, not a scramble

You learn percentages, pivot tables and public speaking with two years of runway - not two weeks before the first test.

04 Measurement

A score report your placement cell can act on.

Infy Assess score report for a Python Basics test - percentile, marks obtained, time used, proctoring violations, a skill-wise radar and a question-level breakdown
Infy Assess score report for a Python Basics test - percentile, marks obtained, time used, proctoring violations, a skill-wise radar and a question-level breakdown

Every sectional test lands as a report like this one. It is the difference between “the batch did aptitude training” and knowing which student is short on which skill, eight months before placement season.

  1. Percentile, not just a mark

Each student is placed against the cohort and against placement-test cutoffs.

  2. Proctoring built in

Window violations are logged, so a score you report to a recruiter is a score you can defend.

  3. Skill-wise radar

Class average against individual performance, per skill - this is what targets remediation.

  4. Question-level breakdown

Correct, partially correct, incorrect and unattempted, so faculty see where a batch leaks marks.

09 Questions deans ask

Straight answers.

Why start in the first year instead of the final year?
Because aptitude and communication compound. A student who builds quantitative fluency in semester one spends the final year on company patterns and interviews rather than on percentages. Campuses that start early consistently convert a wider share of the batch, not just the toppers.
Does 150 hours fit alongside a full degree load?
Yes - it is spread across two semesters and blends live sessions with self-paced modules. We plan batches with your academic office, not around it, and load-balance contact hours away from exam weeks.
Is the aptitude content generic or recruiter-specific?
Recruiter-specific from the start. Company-specific aptitude training and mock assessments for TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, EY and KPMG are named tracks, not add-ons.
Why is Generative AI in a foundation program?
Because entry-level job descriptions now assume it. The track is applied, not theoretical - prompt engineering, AI for research and content, AI in Excel, and responsible-AI practice - so students carry it into every later bootcamp.
How is progress measured?
Entry diagnostics set a baseline, sectional assessments run through the program on the AI-proctored assessment platform, and your placement cell sees cohort and per-student readiness on a weekly RAG dashboard.
